From movies on real events to gruesome thrillers, the Oscars this year seem to have a prodigal mix. But the front runner of all issues clouding the event is the fact that the nominations this year is yet again dominated by white people and men.
The nominations for best picture include a unique mix of Hollywood films: The Revenant (which delves into survival at its most brutal levels); Mad Max which is an apocalyptic road movie which stars Charlize Theron in her career-best; The Martian (Matt Damon scores as the lonely astronaut stuck on Mars) and many more!
