The sub-4 metre sedan will be available with both petrol and diesel engines. The 1.2-litre petrol engine will be mated to 5 speed gear box while the 1.5 litre diesel engine will be available in 5 speed manual and 7 speed automatic transmissions.

Volkswagen Ameo

The sedan is based on the Zica (to be renamed). The sub-4 metre car will come with a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine that belts out a decent 85 PS and has peak torque of 114 Nm. A diesel variant will also be available.

The car comes with a highly efficient 1.4-litre TSI engine (115 kW or 156 PS) combined with an electric motor. Fusion of the two drive units generates a system power of 160 kW / 218 PS and enables a driving range of over 1,000 km. 

Passat GTE

The muscle car comes with a 5.0-litre, V8 engine that belts out an whopping 420 bhp and 529 Nm of peak torque. The company will launch the first right-hand-drive version of the car. It will go on sale in the second quarter of 2016.

 

 

Ford Mustang

The Chevrolet Essentia is based on the platform of current-generation Beat hatchback. The sedan is expected to come in petrol and diesel versions. It will go on sale in 2017, the company confirmed.
